如今的汽车不管是售价还是品牌，让大家都能找到自己适合的，所以现在的汽车数量就越来越多了。随之而来的就是交通状况逐渐的糟糕，走哪堵哪，这就让一些人打消了买车的想法，尤其是城里的很多人，公共交通非常的方便，有时候坐BRT比开车快多了。那很多人就会说现在的交通拥堵是因为汽车数量的增多，还有就是新手增加，开的比较慢，导致交通效率下降，才会变得非常的慢，其实这并不是唯一的，这几个才是罪魁祸首。
第一个是不合理的限速，这个不管是在高速上，还是城里，都遇到过这种情况，就是走的好好的没啥限速，车速在100，可是突然就会出现一个80或者60的限速，司机们就不得不减速。就造成了多米诺效应，本来很顺畅的交通就变得拥挤了。随着车辆不断的增加，就越来越拥挤了，而且还会遭受罚单的困扰。
第二个是不认识的交通标志，因为车越来越多，为了更好的通行就会制定新的出行规则，就 比如新出现的潮汐车道，可变车道，这些车道的样子一些司机不认识，第一次遇到不知道怎么走。就会下意识的减速，然后变道到熟悉的车道上。这种减速和变道就对正常的行驶造成了影响，后边可能两三个车道的车都要减速和避让，就造成了拥堵。
第三个是路边各种车辆乱停乱放，这个在一些老街道和学校门口，比较的常见。因为没有停车位，只能把车放在路边，但是一些司机不会靠边，偏路中间占了车道，过往的车辆，就不能顺利，势必要降低车速，然后整体的车速都会降下来。这是影响道路出行的一个非常重要的原因，通行的效率严重的下降。
第四个就是行人，电动车还有一些开车的，随意变道，加塞抢道，压线跨道行驶，一个车横在两个车道上。另外就是行人和其电动车的，经常不看信号灯，感觉车离得远，就会闯灯行驶。正常行驶的车过来以后只能被迫刹车和减速。就是这种随意变道，不守规则的人，才让交通变的非常的糟糕。这种不仅危险，出现剐蹭和碰撞，还很有可能出现人身伤亡的事故。
所以交通拥堵有车辆增多的原因，还有就是这些不规则的出行造成的，如果都规矩一点，交通状况要改善很多。
