喜提新车，是件开心的事，但一个小时后，悲剧了……宁波的小林后悔得不得了。
事情发生在5月26日上午，小林去北仑4S店提刚到货的奥迪轿车。他是一名“本本族”，考出驾照快3年，但几乎没开过车，所以此行特意叫上了朋友。提到车后，朋友帮忙驾车回家，沿329国道行驶至阿育王寺门口，此地距离小林家已不远。
朋友将车交还给小林，剩下的路程让他来驾驶。中午11时许，当小林驾车行驶至329国道雅庄村路口，进行右转弯时，相对方向非机动车道过来了一辆电动自行车。小林想进行避让，边打方向边踩刹车，但心里一慌，把油门当成了刹车。结果自然不言而喻，奥迪轿车突然加速，把骑车人撞了个措手不及，随后又撞在路边的水泥电线杆上。
“目前伤者已经脱离危险，但仍在住院观察，事故还在进一步处理中。损失的话，据初步估算，奥迪轿车维修费在10万以上。”交警说，这种“错把油门当刹车”的事故，新手驾驶员最常犯，通常是受到“惊吓”，然后下意识地踩“刹车”，而且是一脚到底。这背后说明安全意识不过关，一些驾车习惯有待改正。
最明显的就是踩板习惯。这类事故，要么就是脚闲着，既没在刹车踏板上，也没在油门踏板上；要么脚长时间放在油门踏板上，在紧急情况发生的那一刻，根本就不知道自己的脚在哪里。
要如何避免踩错踏板？
首先不要双脚开车，“左脚刹车右脚油门”这是错误的。正确刹车姿势应该是正脚刹车，斜脚油门。简单说，就是让右脚和刹车踏板在同一个水平线上，以脚后跟为支点，正脚刹车，斜脚油门。一般情况下，遇到紧急情况，人本能的反应是去踩离脚最近的那个踏板，所以培养正脚踩刹车的习惯是可以减少踩错的几率的。
其次，要养成“预刹车”的习惯。在路口、转弯处等特殊路段，不管是不是绿灯、有没有人，建议把脚搁在刹车踏板上面，这个叫做“预刹车”，一旦情况出现，直接踩下去就可以了。
