DCT对于发动机的扭矩精度要求更高，所以匹配难度也更大，更加花时间去调教。目前来看DCT装配率也布局于中级车或以下车型（排除超跑和性能房车）。

DCT变速箱的最高档位也被限制在8档，本田大众均没有研发更高挡位DCT的计划。
