最近，有国内网友拍到了全新一代上汽大众Polo的实车，新车有望在今年年内上市销售。
从外观上看，新一代Polo还原了海外版的设计，车头造型更加低矮，宽度更宽，更有范儿。
国产版
侧面以及尾部的设计相比现款Polo区别不算很大，尺寸方面，新一代Polo车长将首次超过4米，具体的长宽高分别为4053/1740/1449mm，轴距为2564mm，相比现款加长了94mm轴距。

海外版
内饰参考海外版本，相比现款变化很大，不过很多元素可以在全新朗逸、探歌等车型上看到，配合多种颜色的组合，整个内饰氛围显得更加活跃有生气，看起来廉价感也抛除得一干二净了。并且，海外版全新Polo高配车型还配备了全液晶仪表、ACC自适应巡航、座椅加热、无线充电等等。
动力方面，新一代Polo继续使用1.5L自然吸气发动机，尾标为180，最大马力113匹，传动系统匹配5速手动或6AT变速箱。
底盘方面，新一代Polo使用MQB-A0平台打造，前麦弗逊后扭力梁式悬挂。
