日前，据海外媒体报道，在刚刚开幕的2019芝加哥车展上，福特正式发布了新款F系列Super Duty重型皮卡。作为中期改款车型，新车外观变化不大，只在前脸细节上做了调整，新车最大变化是增加了一款7.3L自然吸气V8汽油发动机。
外观方面：新款F系列Super Duty重型皮卡针对前进气格栅进行了重新设计，由分体式双横幅格栅变为镂空式的多条幅格栅，看起来更加彪悍，而据官方解释这种设计是为了优化新车发动机的冷却效果，此外新车的前大灯组加入LED光源。内饰与现款车型相比没有明显变化。
动力方面，作为中期改款，新车的最大亮点是搭载了一台全新的7.3L自然吸气V8发动机，与其匹配的是福特10速TorqShift自动变速箱，同时新车还将提供普通、牵引/托运、ECO、沙地、雪地和湿滑六种驾驶模式。此外，新车还将提供入门级的6.2L 自然吸气V8发动机和6.7T柴油发动机共消费者选择。
