别克威朗于2015年以全新紧凑型轿车的身份正式上市销售，今年别克发布了威朗中期改款车型。网上车市从别克官方获悉：全新威朗将于9月3日正式上市销售。新车外观方面采用别克家族最新设计语言，动力方面提供1.3+CVT与1.0T+6DCT两种动力组合，上市后将继续与丰田卡罗拉、日产轩逸等车型竞争。
全新威朗采用飞翼式前脸造型，前进气格栅内部为点阵式填充，镀铬饰条从中央延伸至两侧灯组，两侧大灯组内部加入“L”型日间行车灯。新车侧面采用了双腰线的设计，搭配17英寸多辐式轮毂，为整车整体了运动感。车尾部分同样加入横向镀铬装饰与车头相呼应，同时拉宽了车尾的视觉效果。内饰依然为环抱式设计，8英寸中控屏搭载eConnect 2.0系统。
全新威朗长宽高分别为4723×1802×1476（1466）mm，轴距为2700mm，相比现款车型长度增加5mm，相比丰田卡罗拉占据优势。新车动力方面将搭载1.0T与1.3T发动机，目前这两款发动机已经搭载在别克旗下多款车型上，最大功率分别为92kW、121kW，峰值扭矩分别为180N.m、240N.m，传动系统分别匹配6速双离合、CVT变速箱。
