外媒报道，梅赛德斯-奔驰CEO蔡澈公开表示，“奔驰EQC 2019年的订单份额已经全部售罄。”虽然官方尚未公布奔驰EQC的订单量，但其表示2019年的产能已经无法满足EQC的订单供应，且2020年仍会面临供不应求。
梅赛德斯-奔驰称2020年要为奔驰所有车型提供电气化，所以率先推出了EQC，并定于2019年中期开始投入生产。此前官方已早早曝出EQC将在2019年底或2020年初进行国产化的消息，不知道EQC来到国内后会不会同样出现供不应求的情况。
EQC外观最大的特点就是并没有像大部分电动车一样取消前中网，长/宽/高分别为4761/1884/1624mm，轴距为2873mm。动力方面，EQC将在前后桥各搭载一台异步电机，最大功率300kW（408Ps），最大扭矩765N·m，官方称其0-100km/h加速时间仅需5.1s。
容量为80kWh的电池组能为车辆提供NEDC工况下450公里的续航能力，使用110kW的充电桩可在40分钟内完成10%-80%的充电，驾驶方面也有5种制动能量回收力度可选。
从美国汽车媒体获得了一组宝马全新X5 xDrive40i（入门版车型）的官方图片。新车基于CLAR平台打造，外观采用最新家族式设计语言，双肾式进气格栅面积进一步增大，换装全新样式的尾灯组，内饰布局也更为精致，全新的12.3英寸液晶仪表尤为抢眼。
动力方面，该车搭载3.0T发动机，最大功率为250kW，峰值扭矩为450Nm，传动系统匹配8速手自一体变速箱。新车在美国的预计起售价将超60700美元（折合人民币约为41万元）。
