2月14日，工信部官网发布《新能源汽车推广应用推荐车型目录（2019年第1批）》。这期目录中出现了迄今为止电池系统能量密度最高的车型——吉利帝豪GSe长续航版，它的综合续航里程达到450公里，电池系统能量密度超过180Wh/kg。EV世纪从吉利新能源有关人士处获悉，这款长续航GSe预计于今年第三季度上市销售。
根据工信部公布的产品公告信息，长续航GSe的电池系统能量密度达到了182.44Wh/kg，这是目前进入工信部公告的电池能量密度最高的纯电动车型，此外，广汽新能源即将推出的Aion S的电池系统能量密度达到了180Wh/kg。
从其电池系统能量密度和综合续航能力判断，长续航GSe将能够获得1.1-1.2倍的国家补贴。
GSe是吉利汽车首款纯电动SUV车型，于2018年6月上市，现款车型综合续航里程为353km（电池容量为52kWh），总共四款配置，以2018年北京市补贴标准为例，补贴后售价为11.98万/12.58万/13.58万/14.58万元。
与在售的现款GSe相比，长续航版本的主要变化有两方面：一是综合工况续航里程由353km提升至450km，二是动力性能提升，驱动电机峰值功率/扭矩由现款的120kW/250N.m提升至130kW/270N.m，预计零到百公里加速时间进一步缩短，现款车型为9.9秒。最高车速仍然是140km/h，工况条件下百公里耗电量为13.9kWh。此外，车身尺寸没有变化，内外饰设计预计也不会有很大变化。
目前尚不清楚长续航GSe的电池容量，但由于现款车型和长续航车型的整备质量都是1635kg，再加上长续航车型的电池系统能量密度超过180Wh/kg，因此，预计GSe增加的100公里续航主要是通过提高电池能量密度实现的，而不是多装载电池。从车身整备质量和百公里耗电量13.9kWh判断，其车身的轻量化水平也比较高。
从车身大小来看，GSe是一款介于小型和紧凑型之间的纯电动SUV，车身尺寸为4440*1833*1560mm，轴距为2700mm，达到了紧凑型SUV的标准。
广汽新能源旗下的纯电动SUV车型GE3与吉利帝豪GSe的车身尺寸相当，两款车是直接竞争对手。去年8月，广汽新能源推出了续航更长的GE3 530车型，其综合工况续航里程达到410公里，超过 帝豪GSe的353公里。长续航GSe上市后，其续航里程将领先于GE3 530，如果后者不进行升级的话。
GE3和GSe都是介于小型和紧凑型之间的SUV车型，车身尺寸比小型SUV更大，但比紧凑型SUV小。这两款车的价格也比小型SUV高（GE3 530补贴后的售价为12.98万-15.58万元），因此，它们的销量都低于小型纯电动SUV。
到目前为止，政府有关部门还没有公布今年的新能源汽车补贴政策，不过，之前网络上流传的消息显示今年的补贴仍将大幅退坡，作为应对，广汽新能源此前宣布，GE3 530的价格保持不变，仍然执行2018年的补贴标准。吉利新能源并没有相应举措。
