在2017年下半年，由于受“咖啡”法规的限制，各大车企纷纷将旗下高油耗且销量不高的车型停产或退出中国市场，受广大车迷喜爱的斯巴鲁BRZ与其姊妹车型丰田86均退出中国市场，一时让很多情怀玩家感到惋惜，“2档7200转”从此成为历史，这也变成了广大车迷心中永远的痛。
随着时间的流逝，广大车迷的内心创伤已不痛不痒，然而近日，斯巴鲁中国官方微博宣布：斯巴鲁BRZ将回归中国市场，此微博一经发布，便引来无数转发和广大网友的评论，评论的内容想必大家不用看也能猜个大概，大部分是“欢迎回家”、“明天就去提车”之类的。
其中有一位网友对斯巴鲁BRZ官宣回归的微博转发并表示：斯巴鲁做出这样的决定是非常有勇气的，在政策和市场的压力下还能顶着压力将BRZ重返中国，意义并不是将一辆跑车引入中国那么简单。
其实斯巴鲁此时让BRZ回归中国，其原因是多方面的，首先BRZ需要感谢全新森林人的混动车型和去年年底洛杉矶车展上亮相的斯巴鲁XV插电混动车型（预计后续也会引入中国市场），全新森林人混合动力和XV插电混合动力车型为斯巴鲁获取了更多的新能源积分，为BRZ的回归腾出了空间。
其次随着国内汽车市场的消费年轻化，很多年轻用户对汽车文化的接受程度较高，对操控、改装有较为强烈的尝试欲望，像BRZ这样好玩且价格适中的跑车，也是有一定市场的。另外从斯巴鲁的品牌层面来看，有BRZ这样主打运动的跑车在中国市场销售，也可以突出斯巴鲁品牌的运动基因，这是广大年轻消费者的最爱。
然而在一些二手车商在看到斯巴鲁BRZ官宣回归的消息后，刚把BRZ库存清空的车商是幸运的，因为在之前斯巴鲁BRZ和丰田86宣布退出中国市场时，二手86和BRZ的价格被炒得很高，几乎与新车同等，如今也是时候回归正常了。
不过斯巴鲁BRZ和丰田86在中国市场的保有量并不高，二手车商手上的库存也不会太多，这点亏损不算大，即便后续斯巴鲁BRZ即便正式回归中国市场，未来也不会成为斯巴鲁的销量主力，毕竟像BRZ这样个性十足的跑车，即便价格适中也是少数人的情怀寄托，而且这少数人也并不希望彰显自己个性的车满大街都是。
所以说斯巴鲁BRZ回归中国市场，不仅让车迷们情怀落地，还让斯巴鲁品牌的运动标签更加明显，有利于促进傲虎、森林人、XV这些车型的销量，这是车迷与斯巴鲁品牌之间的双赢。
当然除此之外汽车改装商也会受益，因为斯巴鲁BRZ只设计了一半，剩下的交给车主们自己去改装。
