在车型排行榜上，雷克萨斯似乎总是排名第一；除了知道加玻璃水之外，似乎就不要做什么了。
同样，以性能和操控著称的宝马，在民间传说中从来都是没以可靠性著称过，特别是各种渗油的引擎 —— 不过可以理解，尚可的马力输出、漂亮的曲线和异常低的油耗以及各种的不可思议 —— 这才是宝马。
当丰田遇上宝马，那就出现了全新的Supra2020 —— 使用宝马B58的引擎 —— 3.0T直列六缸涡轮引擎，和Z4、M340i同款。
据日本媒体Best Car Magazine报道说，下一代的雷克萨斯IS系列也要开始用宝马的引擎了，显然雷克萨斯就是丰田旗下的高端品牌，用Supra的那个B58直六引擎也是无可厚非。
据说，雷克萨斯将使用的引擎，并不仅仅只有宝马的B58直六涡轮机。
可能还有丰田目前在用的那个2.0T的涡轮引擎，还有一款2.4T的318匹的涡轮机，以及一套2.5自吸混动的动力总成，183hp马力。
同时，顶配的IS F上，还将使用那颗从LS系列上“借来的”双涡轮V6引擎——至少416匹的动力，配上10速自动变速箱，还是蛮让人期待的。
关于下一代的IS，目前猜测会在2020年至2021年上市，之后才会是 IS F上市，估计要等到2022年。
如果目前对IS系列感兴趣，却又比较着急想买的朋友，不妨看看最新发布的 RC F赛道定制版，除了大量的碳纤维内饰和极具攻击性的外观之外，还沿用了LC500上面的那颗5.0的V8自吸引擎，471匹马力。
大排量的后驱自吸，不多了。
我知道，这也是喜欢但是几乎不会买系列，恩，就是这样。
