随着生活水平的提高，汽车已经成了每个家庭的必需品，但是很多人在买车的时候都会面临一个问题：究竟买自动挡还是手动挡？随着汽车保有量的不断增加，堵车已经是家常便饭，自动挡汽车由于简单舒适的驾驶方式更受消费者们的喜爱，甚至网上流传着“手动挡汽车以后会彻底消失”的言论。
那么自动挡汽车真的可以完全取代手动挡汽车的存在吗？我觉得并不会，虽然手动挡汽车的比例会缩小，但肯定不会淘汰，因为相对于自动挡的汽车而言，手动挡的汽车的油耗可以更低，更加经济实惠，而且更具有驾驶乐趣，当然驾驶乐趣的前提是有一部好车，而且能够把开车作为一种享受，而不是一种职业。
然后就是手动挡汽车的售价比较低，所以还是有一部分因为预算的原因会选择，所以汽车制造厂家自然是舍不得丢掉这一部分消费者的，顶多也就是手动挡的生产比例降低，完全淘汰手动挡基本是不太可能的。那么为什么手动挡的汽车会越来越少呢？其实主要有四个原因。
一：以前手动挡汽车的优势是可靠+经济。因为当时的自动挡变速箱普遍只有4个档位，而且换挡的逻辑也比较简单，所以油耗会比手动挡高很多，而且驾驶起来没那么得心应手。但是随着技术的不断发展，现在的自动变速箱普遍都是6档、7档了，换挡的逻辑也更加细腻，不仅换挡速度更快，而且油耗更低，顿挫更小，手动挡已经没有优势。
二：手动档汽车的驾驶需要离合器和油门的很好配合，一不小心就容易熄火，而且堵车的时候手脚并用真的很累，开过手动挡的朋友都知道，平时不堵车确实有点点驾驶的乐趣，但是一旦遇到上下班堵车时候，繁琐的操作对新司机或者某些女性司机来说，绝对是一种煎熬，而自动挡汽车则没有这些烦恼。
三：手动挡对新手来说容易后溜车， 一般自动挡的汽车在平地或坡度较小的斜坡是不太可能会出现后溜情况的，即使在坡度较大的情况下，只需要加大油门就能立刻上去，操作难度低。正如上述第二点说的那样，手动挡需要刹车手刹离合油门几个配合好才能有效防止后溜，确实不如自动挡！
四：最后一个原因也是最为重要的原因，就是老婆最大！由于社会的发展，现在女性的地位越来越高，那么大部分女性是要考驾照开车的，那么问题来了，女性一般极为讨厌开手动挡的车，大多数买手动挡汽车的家庭一般也不会具备养两辆车的经济，所以怎么办呢，为了兼顾老婆大人的需求，只能选择自动挡汽车了。
