从去年开始，大众明显是加快了国内市场SUV的布局，不仅一口气推出了T-ROC探歌、途岳、探岳三款全新SUV车型，而且还将在今年推出首款小型SUV——T-Cross ，上汽大众小型SUV T-Cross去年11月份在工信部网站上已经曝光了申报图，预计会在2019年上半年上市，同时T-Cross也是目前国内大众最便宜的SUV。近日我们获得了T-Cross的量产实车图，整体设计采用了大众最新的家族样式。新车型基于国外的T-Cross引进而来，未来或将命名为途歌或途铠。根据大众目前的产品结构来看，定位于小型SUV的新车型，未来上市的起步价或将不足10万，这也将直接于目前国内主流的紧凑型SUV形成直接的竞争，看到这个消息的国产SUV估计现在都该慌了。国产SUV都该慌了，大众首款小型SUV即将上市，起步价或将不足10万
上汽大众T-Cross采用上汽大众最新的设计语言，前脸部分非常敦实饱满，三条贯穿的镀铬饰条搭配菱形镂空网面组合而成的前格栅与方正的前大灯组融为一体，似乎与大哥途昂有些相似；两侧头灯组，采用了全LED光源。整体来说T-Cross的前年看起来给人一种很爽朗，阳光明媚的感觉，比较符合消费者的喜好。
T-Cross的车身侧面看上去也是非常的紧凑，中间的腰线依然是德系硬朗的感觉，整体看上去充满着力量感， 侧面部分，T-Cross采用了双腰线设计，两条腰线由前翼子板标识处引出一直贯穿到尾灯，不仅表现出了其定位时尚活力的气质，还坚守了大众包豪斯设计理念：通过简约的线条实现不俗的设计效果。作为一款跨界车型，该车自然配备了行李架以及轮眉黑色塑料护板。
17英寸的轮圈采用的造型设计，看起来也是动感十足。车身尺寸方面，新车长宽高分别为4218/1760/1589mm，轴距2651mm，要比去年刚刚上市的T-ROC探歌短上不少。车尾的设计上，T-Cross采用了贯穿式的尾灯，这是大众现有车型所不具备的，下方的包围尺寸很粗壮，看起来很有力量感。
内饰方面，从之前曝光的谍照来看，新车型和海外版T-Cross区别不大，整体依然采用的是简洁实用的风格。T型的中控台看起来非常的规整，按键的设计和布局也是非常合理，实用性表现不错。色彩搭配方面，采用的是黑色和黄色的撞色风格，整体看起来也是非常的年轻。多功能方向盘的造型设计比较简单，并且似乎没有采用无钥匙启动功能。
动力方面，上汽大众T-Cross将搭载1.5L自然吸气发动机和1.4T涡轮增压发动机，其中1.4T可产生最大功率110kW（150PS）以及峰值扭矩250N·m，而1.5L可产生85kW（116PS）的最大功率和150N·m的峰值扭矩，传动则匹配6MT或者7速DSG变速箱。根据此前的消息，该车不提供四驱系统。
