停车要拉手刹，这个大家都知道。手刹的作用是，让车辆在停稳的状态下，不移动，不溜车，从而达到一个稳定的状态。其实手刹也是有一定讲究的，下面小编就来给大家说说手刹。
机械式手刹
机械式手刹不用多讲，它是最传统手刹，一般分为手拉式和脚踩式。一般情况下机械式手刹都不应拉得过紧，手刹拉线过紧会变形，寿命就会减短。如果拉的过紧，手刹拉线的回归复位能力也会下降。手刹的效果也会有所减弱。另外，很多车主将车辆停在坡道上，这时候也习惯把手刹拉上，这样对于手刹的损伤还真的挺大的。这时候，大家可以借助一些工具来抵住车辆的轮胎，防止溜车，手刹也不用拉那么紧。
另外，可以将挡位放在1挡或者倒挡来控制。如果在高速行驶的过程中，直接拉手刹是件非常危险的事情。手刹的作用一般在后轮，直接拉手刹的话，会导致后轮抱死。导致侧滑甚至翻车。特别需要提醒的是，一般驾驶人不会有这种操作，需慎防小朋友或者副驾驶的乘客不小心碰到手刹。
电子手刹
电子手刹有两种，一种就是纯开关型，按一下手刹工作，再按一下停止工作。另外一种像玻璃升降开关一样，往上勾一下开关工作，往下按一下停止工作。以上两种方式已经覆盖了市面上几乎所有的电子手刹车型，操作方法也都大同小异。但是如果你的车上有另外一种功能的话，那么会使你的电子手刹更加的好用，这个功能就是“自动驻车”。一般情况下，自动驻车的按键和电子手刹的按键是放在一起的。自动驻车的意思就是自动的帮助驾驶者完成驻车的这个动作，这项功能必须与电子手刹共同工作，没有办法单独使用。
我们平时开车的时候自动驻车是可以在驾驶者踩下刹车时，自动帮助驾驶者拉起电子手刹，而当驾驶者踩下油门的时候，又可以自动的解除手刹，完全解放了驾驶者的右手。如果你习惯了这一功能，那么你就会很容易上瘾的，以后就很难戒掉了，因为实在是太方便了，尤其对于女性和新手来说非常的简单便捷。值得注意的是，如果你的车辆配有电子手刹，一定先拉上手刹，再将挡位放到P挡。这样可以防止变速箱损伤。还可以防止P挡锁止钳卡住，导致车辆无法移动。
