随着人们生活水平的不断提高，汽车已经成为现代家庭的必需品。它能为你遮风挡雨也能为你提供更便捷、更快速的出行选择。汽车在我们生活中起到很重要的作用，那么我们就很有必要了解一些汽车的基本小知识。
「涡轮迟滞」
现在市面上大部分在售车型都是涡轮增压发动机，很多用户对涡轮增压的车都有一种感觉，好像动力输出总是不如自然吸气来的畅快。实际上，涡轮是靠发动机废气驱动，并非发动机启动瞬间就开始运转。
当发动机在低转速时，由于产生的废气量过低，废气产生的推力不足以带动涡轮的运转。只有当你深踩油门随着发动机转速提高产生较大废气量时，涡轮才能启动开始工作。从你刚踩下油门那一刻到涡轮介入工作这一时间差就是涡轮迟滞。
涡轮迟滞是因为急加速时发动机突然发力，而涡轮还未介入，破坏加速线性，影响驾驶感受，尤其大马力增压愈加明显。如果您不喜欢涡轮增压带来的“猛踹感”，还是建议选择自然吸气好一些。
「车身尺寸」
现在的中国消费者都“以大为美”，买车都会注重空间表现。有些人注重实际感受，有些人关注规格参数。现在各汽车厂商对于车身规格的标注，基本上都统一了，如车身总长、轴距、轮距、前悬、后悬等，其中对车内空间影响最大的是轴距，而非车长。
「非承载式车身和承载式车身」
但凡那些敢称自己是硬派越野车的，一般采用的都是非承载式车身结构。非承载式车身，其发动机、传动系统、车身的总成部分是固定在一个刚性车架上，车架通过前后悬挂装置与车轮相连。
非承载式车身是由一根大梁贯穿整个车身结构，底盘的强度较高，抗颠簸性能好。就算四个车轮受力不均，也是由车架承受，不会传递到车身，车身不容易扭曲变形，所以非承载式车身往往用于货车、客车或越野车上。
而承载式车身汽车的整个车身是一体的，没有贯穿整体的大梁，发动机、传动系统、前后悬挂等部件都装配到车身上，车身负载通过悬挂装置传给车轮。
承载式车身结构的汽车，在平顺路面行驶很平稳、固有频率低、噪声小、重量轻，但底盘的强度不及有大梁结构的非承载式车身，在车的四个车轮受力不均匀时，车身容易发生变形，广泛应用于轿车上。
「车身材料」
并不是所有车身材料强度越高越好，要看用在车身的什么位置或区域。如驾乘室的框架横梁、纵梁、ABC柱等位置，为了在发生碰撞事故时保证驾乘室的空间完整性，保证驾乘人员安全，就必须采用高强度的材料。
而车前和尾部的材料，对乘客的安全起不到决定性作用，所以为了降低车身重量往往会选择使用强度较低的轻型材料
「溃缩吸能」
在碰撞事故中，最重要的就是保护车内人员的安全，所以在碰撞事故中驾乘室的变形越小越好。汽车在设计时考虑到这一点，在汽车碰撞时选择让初撞机构先溃缩，吸收一部分的撞击能量，从而减少传递到驾乘室的撞击能量，有效保证驾乘空间完整。
「汽车通过性指标」
说白了，汽车通过性指标就是指一辆车能通过多高或者多宽的道路以及一些复杂路况表现。汽车通过性可分为轮廓通过性和牵引支承通过性，前者是指车辆通过坑洼路段和障碍（如陡坡、侧坡、台阶、壕沟等）的能力，后者是指车辆通过松软土壤、沙漠、雪地、冰面、沼泽等地形的能力。汽车通过性指标几何参数主要包括最小离地间隙、接近角、离去角、纵向通过角等。
「变速箱」
现如今市场上销售的汽车主要配备的变速箱有手动变速箱（MT）、自动变速器（AT）、无级变速器（CVT）和双离合变速器（DCT）。下面咱们就对各种变速箱逐一介绍和分析。
I. 手动变速箱
手动变速箱是一款历史悠久也是最常见的变速形式，手动变速箱一般需要使用离合踏板才能完成对汽车的换挡工作。它的优点就是结构简单、制造成本以及维护费用较低、可靠性高、省油、传动效率高、换挡反应快，更具有驾驶乐趣。但手动变速箱因为受体积限制挡位数较少，操作难度高不太适合新手驾驶，并且伴随换挡过程而出现的顿挫感也很明显且无法改变。
II. CVT无级变速器
CVT无级变速器是由滑轮和一条金属带组成，滑轮则是由两个轮盘组成。通过缩窄或者拉宽轮盘的间距来改变金属带与滑轮接触的直径，从而实现不同的转速转换。CVT 无级变速器，传递效率较高，加速平稳无顿挫感，燃油经济性好，结构简单。但是它的制造成本高，并且一般损坏很难维修，传动扭矩有限往往后劲不足，一般不适合激烈驾驶。
III. 自动变速器
自动变速器的传动系统是由液力变矩 器、行星齿轮和液压操纵系统组成，通过液力传递和齿轮组合的方式来达到变速变矩。自动变速器的平顺性相对而言较好，也可以承受发动机的高扭，适用范围很广泛有比较成熟的技术，但是它的结构比较复杂，维修成本更高。
IV. 双离合变速器
双离合变速器是由两套手动变速箱器组成，两个离合器分别控制两套齿轮与发动机的连接与断开，从而实现挂“1档”时“2档”已经准备好，挂“2档”时“3档”也提前准备好，以此类推，从省去换挡的时间间隔，实现快速换挡。双离合变速器分为湿式双离合和干式双离合。干式双离合因为工作介质没有湿式双离合的润滑液所以容易产生高温，但是它的传动效率更高。
