先从颜值上来说，上汽大通G50延续了“智聚八方”的八边形前格栅家族造型，整体稳重中透着霸气。LED头灯与上格栅完美融合，造型展示出时尚前卫的风格，矩阵式的日间行车灯在点亮之后非常吸引眼球。
车身侧面线条突出，流畅的肩线与车门把手完美融合，车门外部凹凸有致的造型提升了动感和美感。侧面立柱采用隐藏式设计，车窗则采用环绕式，配合悬浮式车顶的造型，哪怕是庞大的MPV也没有任何笨重的感觉。
作为一款MPV最关心的当然是空间问题，上汽大通G50的车身尺寸为长宽高4825mm×1825mm×1778mm，轴距2800mm。
空间表现上，在坐满三排的情况下依旧可以容纳1个28寸、2个20寸的拉杆箱，家人再也不用很局促得出行了。
在内饰方面，整体风格低调奢华，简洁紧凑，颇具时尚科技感。
整个仪表台采用环抱式座舱，高清12.3寸娱乐触摸大屏、7寸液晶仪表屏，提升了G50的科技氛围，大量的皮质包裹提升了整体的豪华感，享受越级豪华舒适。
同时，G50还为车主预留了包括行车记录仪插口在内的7处用电器接口，以及手机无线充电功能。
另外，车顶则安装了同级最大尺寸的全景天窗，1.11平米的采光面积让用户能够尽情享受美景，特别在这个温暖的春天，让你抬头就能感受到春天的惬意。
配置方面，上汽大通G50搭载了上汽与阿里联合开发的斑马智能车载系统，特别让人欣喜的是还能享受上汽阿里斑马智能互联系统终身免基础流量服务。
智能柔性导航的原生高德地图、OTA在线更新功能、智能场景语音识别等功能，让你在一句“你好，斑马！”后就能语音进行交互，让智能触手可及，让智能互联为生活加料。
同时提供了高阶ADAS智能驾驶辅助系统，为用户出行带来一丝不苟的守护。
其中，LDW+LKA车道偏离报警及保持系统可在车辆偏离车道时发出预警；ACC自适应式巡航系统可在30-150km/h范围内自动跟车；AEB自动刹车辅助系统能够在前方出现突发状况时及时减速刹车，避免意外发生，实在很令家人安心。
值得表扬的是，为了确保儿童出行的安全，上汽大通MAXUS G50在第二排和第三排均配备了ISOFIX儿童座椅接口，让家人更放心。
作为一辆家用MPV，上汽大通MAXUS G50提供1.3T、1.5T两款发动机，其中1.3T发动机最大功率120kW，最大扭矩230N·m，百公里综合油耗仅为6.9L（公告数据）；1.5T发动机功率可达124kW，扭矩达到250N·m。
再加上它的底盘表现扎实而富有韧性，兼顾操控精准和乘坐舒适；EPS电子随速助力转向系统提供了精准的操控体验；转向精准，高速稳重，低速轻盈，符合中国驾驶员的驾驶习惯。
据了解，上汽大通考虑到用户的多种需求还提供C2B网络订制功能，总计提供30多个大类、近100项高感知配置可选，让用户可以自由匹配自己的Dream Car。其打破了配置捆绑，消费者能够主动选择自己想要的配置，而不必为不喜欢的配置买单。
据了解，从2月28日全系上市前的预售期内，上汽大通MAXUS全能家旅MPV G50两个预售品种单月销量达到1700余台，同时，订单数也有4000余台，受欢迎程度可见一斑。从成都建国天弘西南旗舰店获悉，目前上门看车的消费者络绎不绝，售价为12.38万元的自动豪华版是最畅销的配置。
