当车祸发生时，无论是司机还是伤者，都可能会因为缺乏对处理交通意外的了解，而面临种种困难，甚至可能会和对方发生冲突。
那么，我们究竟应该如何应对，如何将自己的损失降到最低，从而使自己的利益得到最大程度的保护呢？ 下面就请跟随小编一起来学习如何正确应对车祸吧！
一、司机
作为司机一方，发生车祸后，首先要沉着冷静，千万不能逃逸，现在车辆绝大部分都投有保险，大部分的赔偿款都会由保险公司来承担。
可是如果发生逃逸，不仅会承担全部责任，保险公司也可以拒绝理赔，更有甚者可能会因为逃逸而被判刑坐牢。
●如果是没有人员伤亡的轻微事故，可以通知保险公司，对车辆进行拍照后，走快速理赔程序。损失没有超过2000元的可以走交强险自赔，迅速驶离现场，避免二次事故发生，切不可 逞强斗气。
●如果发生人员伤亡等较严重事故，需要立即停车，放置三脚架，报120急救，报警，报保险，俗称“三报”。时常有司机在发生事故时因救人心切，用自己的事故车辆将伤者送往医院，结果却被交警以未保护现场为由定了全部责任。
因此，正确的做法是尽量避免用事故车辆抢救伤员，如果非用不可，一定要对事故现场拍照，并做好现场标记。
二、伤者
作为伤者一方来说，一方面是治好伤，另一方面就是拿到合理赔偿。受伤之后在积极治疗的同时，就需要争取有利的事故认定，以便为后期的赔偿打好基础。
因此在发生车祸后需要及时报警，请交警部门对事故现场进行认定，出具事故认定书。
事故认定书是这个赔偿中的重中之重，如果交警部门无法对事故进行认定，没有争取到有力的事故认定，事故责任没有划清，就很难与保险公司或者车主就赔偿问题谈拢，即使走到法院，法院一般会让伤者与司机各担一半责任。
