这辆阅朗的外观尤其是前脸和英朗、GL6可以说是基本一样的，都说大众玩套娃战术，看来别克的套娃玩的是更彻底，也更没有激情。虽然是几乎复制的前脸但别说这套飞翼+直瀑式进气格栅的前脸外加延伸进大灯组的镀铬装饰颜值效果还是挺不错的。整体看起来比较符合家用气质。

它的售价区间为11.99万-14.69万元。无论是知名度还是销量都比不过同胞兄弟英朗，但如果这两者做一个选择，我认为阅朗是更适合家用的那一款。但如果从前脸来看，阅朗和英朗几乎看不出区别。英朗月销2万辆以上的成绩，证明了中规中矩的造型还是很受国人喜欢的。

贯穿式腰线让整个车身侧面看起来更加修长，尽显旅行车的风采。尾部造型饱满，加上展翼型LED尾灯，在视觉效果上更加耐人寻味。

内饰方面 ，阅朗沿用了通用经典的环抱式中控设计，镀铬和大面积的软性材质相搭配让整车内部看起来更加具有品质感。三辐式方向盘采用真皮包裹，握感厚实，而多功能按键集成了多媒体、电话、定速巡航等功能，十分便利。7英寸高清触控屏可以说是一大亮点，搭载全新一代eConnect智能互联系统，并支持Apple CarPlay/Baidu CarLife双系统手机互联功能，扩展性非常强。

阅朗全系配备了多项实用性和科技配置，全系车型都体现出了该级别车型应有的水准。在安全配置方面除了正面安全气囊，还全系标配了侧安全气囊，并且全系配备TPMS智能胎压监测系统，值得称赞。与此同时，博世ESP 9.1 电子车身稳定控制系统、ABS 防抱死刹车系统、EBD 电子制动力分配系统、EBW 紧急刹车提醒等也是全系标配，让行车更加安全有保障。

动力系统方面，阅朗分别搭载1.0T、1.3T两款发动机。1.0T涡轮增压发动机，最大功率92kW（125Ps）/5600rpm，峰值扭矩170Nm/2000-3600rpm；1.3T涡轮增压发动机，最大功率120kW（163Ps）/5500rpm，峰值扭矩230Nm/1800-4400rpm。

阅朗底盘跟英朗共用，后悬挂是同样的三连杆结构。拿自家主流家轿改造成旅行车，别克并非第一个，大众朗行也是以朗逸为基础。不同于朗行那种简单加个尾厢，阅朗这台车的造型更符合“瓦罐迷”的审美。
