　1、经常检查前后车胎

电动自行车尽量不要使用零起动（即原地起动），尤其是在负重和上坡处更应禁止。这是因为起动时，电机必须首先克服静摩擦力，此时电流较大，接近甚至达到阻转电流，使蓄电池大电流工作，加速蓄电池的损坏。尽量减少频繁刹车与重新加速次数，不要超载和超速行驶（故意拔掉限速装置）。骑行中还要尽量避免过大颠簸振动而造成对控制器、接点、接插件、电机轴承的冲击。

2、骑行之后及时补充电能

电动车电池出现明显缺电“饥饿”状态时，会造成电池很大的亏空。充电前，先将充电器插入电动车充电座，再将充电器电源接入交流电。电池基本充满后至少应再保持两三小时浮充电，保证真正充满，但不要超过24小时。另外，夏季应避免行驶后回来立即充电，且充电时间一般以八小时为宜，切勿过度充电。

3、经常检查前后车闸

灵敏可靠、行程适宜，不刹闸时磨不到轮毂；闸皮过度磨损，要及时更换。注意前后车轮转动是否圆滑顺畅，轻轻拨动应“惰走”较长时间，停止瞬间有反转倾向，否则应调整轴档。以上两项调整得当，可以减少摩擦节约电能，增加续驶里程。不骑行使用时应关闭电门锁，避免控制器、电量指示灯及其它线路元件等空载耗电。

4、尽可能在室内存放车辆

电动车应避免雨淋日晒，恶劣天气严防电机电池进水、烈日过度曝晒。电动车切勿过度使用，让电动车休养生息，使电池自然恢复其化学性能。应尽量避免连续过长时间远距离骑行造成电动车电池深度放电，如有可能，中途补充电能是可以的。若长时间不骑行，应每半个月充电一次。

新国标电动自行车使用前应检查链条的松紧度

手感和观察链条的链轴转动是否灵活，链节锈蚀是否严重。经常擦拭车辆，对需润滑部位如刹车、链条传动机构等定期注油，紧固易松脱的前后轴、车把等处的螺母螺钉，定期对电镀金属表面擦拭驱锈防锈机油。
