很多车主可能都知道，根据机油的使用里程来换油，但是如果爱车平常开的少或者很长时间没开了，里程数没达到更换机油的标准，那还需要更换吗？
可以肯定的说需要更换，具体原因就先从机油更换周期的标准说起：
第一，车辆行驶里程，按照不同类型机油使用的公里数，矿物机油每5000公里一换，半合成机油每7000公里一换，全合成机油更换周期长达10000-15000公里。总之，车辆如果频繁使用，到了公里数就要及时保养。
第二，就是今天的主要话题，按时间期限来更换机油。车辆保养手册中，对于更换机油，除了里程数外，还有时间要求。比如说“5000公里或者6个月”二者先到为准，可能很多朋友对按时间更换机油没有概念，也从不知道更换机油还要按时间。
那么为什么要按时间期限来更换机油呢？
1，对于一年只开个几千公里，只用于上下班的车辆来说，机油同样随着时间的推移，会自身氧化、被污染等，使其品质下降，失去机油原有的对发动机良好的保护性能。还有机油中所含的各种添加剂是在不停消耗的。机油在使用中不停地混入气缸中燃烧的气体而生成油泥、积炭、水分、酸性氧化物等会使机油的使用性能不断的下降。所以，过了机油最佳的使用期限，会显著的降低机油对发动机的抗磨保护、抗腐蚀保护等性能。
2，如果车辆长时间不使用，也不更换机油，除了机油会变质、乳化外，由于车辆发动机长时间不运转，所以机油在重力的作用下基本已经全部回流到油底壳，发动机内部各摩擦副已经没有了油膜保护，这时候车辆第一次冷启动，会对发动机造成过度磨损。另外，长时间不使用车辆，对汽车的蓄电池、轮胎等部件都会有一定的损耗。
德国金引擎润滑油友情提示：所有车辆的保养换机油期限标准：矿物机油为5000公里或者6个月一换，半合成机油7500公里或者6个月一换，全合成机油10000公里或者一年一换，以两者先到为准。考虑到国内较拥堵的路况，及有暴力驾驶习惯的车主，可以适当提前为车辆进行保养。如果车辆长时间闲置，尽可能两至三周开一次车，这样不仅可以为电瓶充电，还可以看看轮胎有没有亏气，并且能够让机油润滑、保护发动机部件。长期旅游出差，请家人或者朋友，帮忙每周发动车辆一次，变换一下轮胎位置，防止轮胎及轮毂出现变形。
总之，机油长期不更换，会变质、乳化。所以，如果车辆行驶公里数没有到达更换机油的标准，但时间期限已经到达，是需要更换机油的。车辆其它的部件的油液也应该定期检查，老化的也要及时更换，以免车辆在使用过程中发生问题。
