底盘异响相对发动机异响来说比较容易找到故障点，但是有些底盘异响也不是太容易找到，因为大部分异响都是在行驶中出现的，或者特定路况下才会出现，这就给查找问题带来了很多麻烦，当你看到一辆行驶的车发动机舱上趴了个人，那个人可能是修理工在听异响。
电子听诊器
随着汽车诊断设备越来越高级，修理工在维修车辆时也轻松了许多，比如今天这辆车，我们电子听诊器将探头夹在可疑故障部位，坐在车里带上耳机，可以较为轻松的判断出故障点在那。

今天这辆雅阁，车主说过碎石路时有咕噜咕噜的响声，通常这种情况一般和减震器、稳定杆小拉杆有关。修理厂把这两样全都换掉了，结果异响依旧存在。修理厂老板都快疯了。
底盘件能换的都换了，减震器，控制臂、平面轴承、小栏杆。修理厂告诉车主需要更换转向机，车主也是头大了，搞个异响花了2300元还没有搞好，现在又要换方向机报价1700元。车主同意，新方向机一看就是副厂的，做工非常粗糙，车主不同意更换。
方向机
因为更换的这些配件都没有坏，最后修理厂老板和车主各掏一半的钱。这事就算了结了。
最后车主找到了我们，如果这辆先找到我们，我们的检修思路其实也是这样，但是不会盲目的去换件，比如控制臂、小拉杆，减震器这些其实都能测试出好坏。
前人栽树后人乘凉，既然底盘件都换了个遍了，剩下的这能是方向机了，因为原地怠速打方向都没有声音，将听诊器探头夹在方向机上，原地打方向没有声音。

方向机是齿轮齿条传动，也有涡轮涡杆式的。该车是齿轮齿条式的。有传动就会有磨损，该车的故障就是因为磨损导致间隙过大，过碎石路时齿条左右晃动和齿轮发生碰撞导致异响产生。上图箭头所指的齿条导块，作用是调整齿轮和齿条间隙的。下图是调整螺丝位置。
调整螺丝位置，比较隐蔽
将锁紧螺丝拆下来，用四方接杆调整间隙，看似简单，但有一个问题，缩紧螺丝大帽是32号的，套筒太长，所以需要自制一个扳手。将套筒切一部分下来。

然后焊接到棘轮扳手上。
工具做好了，先将棘轮扳手套在锁紧螺母上，拆下锁紧螺母然后将四方接杆插到调整螺丝上。
锁紧螺母和调整螺丝都已经拆卸下来。
然后再齿轮导块内部涂抹一些黄油。
最后进行调整，这也是最关键的步骤，需要多次调整，如果有维修手册，可以参考手册中所标注的力矩进行紧固。
紧固方法
如果方向机使用年限长了，可以稍微增加一点扭矩，具体增加多少，需要进行多次调试。
调试完毕后，用方头接杆插到调整螺母上，最后用棘轮扳手紧固锁紧螺母。
在维修过程中，斯巴鲁方向机异响的比较多，可以通过这个方式调整，没必要花冤枉钱去更换新的方向机。
