家用轿车在市场中的竞争还是比较激烈的，而丰田作为日系三兄弟中的其中一员，在市场中的竞争力度也是非常高的，但是随着在汽车行业领域的不断激烈竞争和压力下，丰田汽车已将旗下的多款车型进行了全新的升级，像丰田凯美瑞和RAV4等车型都已经完成了全新款的换代，但是随着市场层出不穷的新车，像本田思域和大众朗逸等车型在竞争上都是非常激烈的，为了增加在市场中的占有率，丰田将旗下的雷凌进行了全新款的换代，新车在外形上有点像海外版的卡罗拉，随着时间的不断流失，全新款的雷凌实车再次现身，而新车也将于2019年5月20日正式上市，让我们先一睹新车的风采吧。
全新雷凌在外观方面有了些许的改动，前脸的进气格栅极为狭长，与两侧的大灯自然地连接在一起，中间嵌入了丰田的车标，下方连着梯形的进气口，里面的中网采用熏黑式的处理，外面包裹银色的镀铬饰条，两个雾灯有画龙点睛之意，看起来更具有运动气息。引擎盖上两条若隐若现的线条也使得该车的运动感十足。
车身侧面，一条上扬式的腰线贯穿车的前后，车身为溜背式的设计，车窗四周也用银色的镀铬饰条包裹，看起来更加时尚美观。车尾部的后备箱盖较为平滑，两侧尾部大灯在造型上采用了拼接色的设计，带有熏式处理的设计进行了左右连接式的设计，大灯底部银色镀铬饰条装饰的标识增加了强烈的辨识度，后保险杠区域采用了大面积的嵌入式黑色护板，于两侧修长十的大灯相连接，拉伸了汽车尾部的纵向视觉。
内饰方面，拼接色的设计更加简单明了，中控台采用的黑色和米色相撞色的设计表现出具有强烈的层次感，三幅式的方向盘也更加便捷，仪表盘是修长的设计，在边框处加入了银色镀铬饰条进行装饰，增加了档次感，独立的悬浮式显示器与多媒体物理按键区域的设计融为一体，在视觉上增加了冲击力，车门内侧延续了中控台的设计，也同样呈现出强烈的层次性，浅色系的多功能式座椅更加大气。
在动力上搭载的是TNGA平台打造的全新版1.8L混动系统发动机，该车在传动系统方面儿将会匹配手动变速箱和E-CVT变速箱。
