现在买车的朋友越来越多了，而自动挡也是现在很多人的首选，毕竟自动挡的方便操作让很多朋友都为之倾心，当然，自动挡汽车开起来确实比手动挡要方便很多很多，但是自动挡也是有很多不同的档位的，买了自动挡的车，大家千万不要养成一个D档走天下的习惯，还再傻傻用D挡一直开车？自动挡汽车这样开，能比平常省一半油。
首先不管是手动挡还是自动挡，一个挡位行驶各种路段油耗肯定是只高不低。很多自动挡的朋友不管是加速、超车、各种路段都是一个D档行驶，自动挡汽车的车主们可以在等红绿灯或者堵车的时候，车主可以将挡位拨到N档，其次在汽车爬坡的时候，车主就不要只用D档了，可以把档位拨到S上面，汽车的S挡其实就SPORT运动的缩写，就是把车子调到运动挡位，一方面可以弥补D挡的动力不足，另外还可以省油省力。
有的人在下坡的时候也用D挡加速，然后开始空挡滑行，这样做不带不会省油还是相当危险的可能会造成刹车的失灵，因为他认为空挡的时候发动机就不会工作了，其实不是这样的，现在的发动机都是电喷的都是由电脑来控制喷油的，如果你带档滑行电脑会停止喷油，这样做其实才更省油，还有日常的保养，其实对省油也很重要，以下是你应该养成的良好习惯，勤换油这里的油，包括发动机机油等等。但更主要的是，自动挡车特有的变速箱油，要勤换，一般自动挡车型的说明书上，都要求10万公里左右更换变速箱油。
最后不要急刹车，在开车过程中车主要及时观察与前车与后车的车距，同时也要观察信号灯还有多长时间，不要等到已经来不及了才急刹车，因为急刹车是非常耗油的，只要牵扯到制动必然与油耗密不可分，另外踩油门的时候不要使劲儿一脚踩到底，这是非常耗油的，如果大家是缓慢踩油门，反而效果更好，因为在缓慢踩油门的时候车子会自动换挡，这个时候踩油门踏板能省下不少油耗，这个时候建议车主使用巧劲儿而不是蛮劲儿。
