网上车市从一汽奥迪官方获悉，代号X78的奥迪首款国产轿跑SUV——Q3 Sportback首款试生产车型已经下线（Q3为X77）。根据奥迪的新车规划，预计Q3 Sportback将于明年正式上市。与现款在售的Q3相比，Q3 Sportback采用了溜背式造型设计，Coupe车身营造出不错的运动效果，新车上市后将与同样主打跨界运动的宝马X2、奔驰GLA等车型竞争。
自宝马X6开创轿跑SUV潮流，奔驰、奥迪等豪华品牌旗下的Coupe SUV车型接踵而至，比如我们熟悉的奔驰GLE Coupe、GLC Coupe、奥迪Q8等。不过相比宝马、奔驰，奥迪在轿跑SUV方面的布局要稍慢一些，直到去年奥迪才在深圳全球首发品牌首款轿跑SUV Q8，而宝马X6/X4、奔驰GLE/GLC Coupe早已经畅销多年。
作为轿车、SUV的结合体，轿跑SUV综合了SUV（外观可塑性强、视野更开阔）、轿车（操控性好）的优势，在市场上独树一派。值得注意的是，由于Coupe造型（一般车顶线条从B柱开始向后流线型下滑）的限制，轿跑SUV后排空间表现较同级别的SUV处于明显劣势，这也是消费者一直吐槽的地方，因此Coupe SUV车身尺寸一般至少会从紧凑级起步。
就奥迪Q3 Sportback而言，新车车顶线条从B柱向后呈抛物线下滑，相较竞品宝马X2、奔驰GLA，这样的造型看上去更加运动化，不过这或许会在一定程度上影响后排乘坐空间。尺寸方面，此前一汽奥迪的生产规划显示，Q3 Sportback车身高度较Q3低了40mm左右。动力方面新车与Q3保持一致，采用1.4T+7DSG、2.0T+7DSG的动力总成，其中四驱版车型使用DQ500湿式双离合变速箱。
