斯柯达持续布局性能车阵线，近日针对英国市场推出了定位比明锐 RS 更高的车型 明锐 RS Challenge，以广受好评的家庭性能车明锐 RS 为基础，增加多样外观、内饰配备与底盘升级，使其拥有更性能化的整体配置。动力依然使用 2.0 升 TSI 涡轮增压引擎，拥有 245 匹马力，配上 6 速手动或 7 速手自一体。
里外加入黑色元素
明锐 RS Challenge 同时提供 4 门掀背及 5 门 Combi 两种车身型式，外观改变主要加入黑色元素，搭载 19 吋黑色轮圈、黑色运动化排气尾管、黑色后视镜，以及特殊的黑色 RS 徽饰，另外 LED 头灯也列为 明锐 RS Challenge 的标准配备。
内饰维持斯柯达RS 的性能基调，配上皮质跑车化方向盘、具有电调与电热功能的 Alcantara 皮质跑车化座椅，中控台上为 8 吋触控荧幕的多媒体导航主机，并有 10 种颜色可调的 LED 气氛灯来改变车内氛围。
搭载 DCC 主动悬挂与电子限滑差速器
机械结构部分，明锐 RS Challenge 使用与 明锐 RS 245 相同的动力配置，所搭载的 2.0 升 TSI 汽油涡轮引擎可输出 245 匹、370N.m的最大动力，变速箱则有标配的 6 速手动与选配的 7 速 DSG 可选，从静止加速至时速 100 公里只需 6.6 秒。底盘强化在于加入 DSS 主动悬挂，系统会视驾驶动态自动调整减震筒阻尼，让 明锐 RS Challenge 能兼顾舒适与操控表现。此外，还配有电子式限滑差速系统，在极端状态下，可将 100%的动力送往单一车轮，让充沛性能可以更有效率的驱动车辆前进。
