日前，我们从永川区投资环境推介暨长城汽车股份有限公司配套商大会上获悉，长城汽车永川生产基地将于今年8月投产，其中，长城汽车首款高端豪华皮卡“长城炮”系列将全部在永川基地同期开始量产。
长城炮在2019年上海车展中正式首发亮相，凭借霸气硬朗的外观和高端豪华的内饰赢得众多用户青睐。炮系列三款产品包括乘用版、商用版和越野版，并将推出电动车型，其是长城皮卡未来三年5+N战略规划下最先推出的三款产品，都是在全新平台—P71平台下打造，P71平台是基于全球法规、全球市场打造的。全球法规包括安全、排放等，全球市场包括欧盟、澳大利亚等高端市场，也包括中东、北非市场。这是最基本的一个核心竞争力。
长城炮市场前景看好，此次决定提前进行量产，也是长城汽车为更快地抢占市场先机的需要。据悉，长城炮系列皮卡计划7月20日进行生产试制，8月20日正式投产。
长城炮配置了8AT变速箱、多连杆后悬架，这都将开我国皮卡市场先河，是一款兼具乘用化、家用化属性的皮卡，ACC自适应巡航、远程遥控启动、控制空调、智能网联系统、油量检测以及智能语音控制系统等诸多舒适性配置也均在长城炮车型上有所体现，这是在皮卡行业里比较全面地去打造的一款乘用化皮卡，也是中国首款乘用化皮卡。
长城炮系列的推出，将真正满足用户对智能乘用化皮卡的需求。以长城制造研发和成本控制的能力来看，炮系列将是最符合用户需求的一系列产品！长城炮系列，将带领中国皮卡市场从商用化真正走向乘用化，走向大众家庭，走向所有用户，成为家庭万能车。
长城汽车永川生产基地于2017年12月25日签约落户，2018年6月1日正式动工，项目筹备建设周期为18个月。长城汽车股份有限公司重庆分公司总经理孟树杰介绍，该基地能提前4个月投产，一方面得益于永川良好的营商环境，使公司在项目审批、厂房建设、设备引进等方面节约了大量时间，当然，长城炮的未来市场潜在力也是促进该基地提前动工的重要因素。
永川生产基地将全面打造高端皮卡长城炮，在优秀的生产平台上，长城炮系列将全面发力，成为我国乘用化皮卡的代表者，促进我国高端皮卡发展！
