提起迈巴赫，大家应该首先想到就是极致的豪华座驾了，但是其实现在的大家想要买到纯正的迈巴赫已经是很难的了，因为迈巴赫在2013年就因为市场业绩不佳已全面停产。直到2014梅赛德斯—奔驰在广州正式发布全新子品牌梅赛德斯-迈巴赫，迈巴赫系列才再次进入人们的视野，不过此时的迈巴赫，已经是奔驰S级别家族的一员了，说到底，还是因为迈巴赫不是常人所能购买的，并且迈巴赫因为注重品质与品牌，基本是无利润销售，甚至是做到了卖一辆就会亏损的状态。由此我们也可以看出迈巴赫缔造的这个传奇品牌—一个象征着顶级和奢华的轿车。
充满传奇色彩的品牌
迈巴赫（MAYBACH）品牌首创于二十世纪20年代。它由被誉为“设计之王”的威廉·迈巴赫和其子卡尔·迈巴赫共同缔造。该品牌标志由2个交叉的M围绕在一个球面三角形里组成。标志中的两个M最初代表的是“迈巴赫发动机建设”，而现在意味着“迈巴赫制造厂”。
1919年，迈巴赫与他的儿子卡尔·迈巴赫在4个梅赛德斯轿车的底盘上建造了一辆试验车Ｗ1，这就是第一辆迈巴赫轿车。1921年，这辆迈巴赫轿车在柏林车展上大放光芒，卡尔·迈巴赫也正式确立了迈巴赫的市场定位和未来发展方向：“要造最昂贵的轿车。”
1931年，作为迈巴赫的旗舰车型的“齐帕林”ＤＳ8一经问世，迅速以无与伦比的典雅风范和动力性能征服了世界。“齐柏林”代表了豪华轿车的巅峰之作，当然，拥有“齐柏林”需要雄厚的经济基础，该车售价高达36000德国马克，在20世纪30年代初期，这笔费用足以用来购买3幢别墅。迈巴赫成了全世界汽车家族中最璀璨的明星。但是在1941年，迈巴赫由于战争原因而被迫停产，从此进入到一个长达60年的沉睡期。
迈巴赫的二进宫
复出后的“迈巴赫”继续采用限量订货的方式生产年产量限定在1000辆左右其中40%销往美国25%在欧洲其余的则在亚洲、澳洲等地区销售。2004年“迈巴赫”在中国内地亮相基本型售价在中国为618万元而最高配置、售价超过千万元天价的“迈巴赫”在中国刚一露脸就获得了8辆今天的“迈巴赫”继承了历史上这个车型的传统它宽敞的空间、豪华订单的不俗业绩。
迈巴赫的装备和精良的工艺同样是当今德国汽车工业最高水平的象征。不仅填补了戴姆勒-克莱斯勒在最高端豪华车领域的空白更在安全性、舒适性、可靠性和耐久性方面为这一级别的车型确立了新的标准。“迈巴赫”在德国车中不仅车身最长在德国人心中的地位也最高。几乎从有“迈巴赫”汽车以来它的名字就代表着豪华至尊。当年“迈巴赫”汽车一经问世就以一种极尽奢华的形象展现在世人面前并一直以全手工制作、个性化十足、豪华、稀有而著称于世。
全球唯一的迈巴赫 Exelero
迈巴赫的高性能车Exelero 在向世界首次的见面是在柏林。迈巴赫Exelero全球只有一辆，而且售价高达惊人的500万欧元。迈巴赫Exelero是一辆双门两座的跑车，装配由Fulda Reifenwerke提供的独有V12双涡轮增压引擎，可以爆发出惊人的700匹马力。此外，迈巴赫还配备了最新开发的宽体轮胎。首次开发跑车就能拥有351.45公里/小时的极速，也说明迈巴赫深厚的研发能力。
新的迈巴赫Exelero由著名的意大利设计师Stola设计，来自迈巴赫设计中心和德国Pforzheim学院的学生参与了超级跑车的设计。Exelero延续了20世纪30年代的设计风格，宽的前轮和前轮防尘挡板让人看到了过去。同时，整辆车也融入了更现代的风格。整辆车夸张的流线型曲线和扫帚尾部的设计给人一种时尚的感觉。这辆车，堪称是迈巴赫史上史诗级的力作。
