近几年来，我国的高速公路发展的很迅速，为人们的出行带来很大便利，但唯一不满的就是高速上还要收费，所以很多人都盼着可以取消，但从目前来看，这种情况几乎是不可能的，因为高速也是耗费了大量的人力物力，这些支出的费用也是很巨大的，不过现在的收费标准逐渐人性化，从7月1日起，高速收费又有了很大变动，很多车主都可以省下不少钱，确实是一个值得高兴的好消息。
正是因为高速公路的便利，所以导致了高速上的堵车严重，尤其是在收费的地方，每次上高速都要排很长的队，虽然有点让人着急，但这也是没办法的事，毕竟现在的汽车数量太多了，谁都想在高速上行驶，尽快的到达自己要去的地方。不过此前高速上也推出了ETC，只要车上装了相关的配置，直接从专业的通道通过就行，连车都不用停，确实是很方便的。不过办理ECT也是很麻烦的，所以不常上高速的人一般都没有安装。
为了鼓励大家更好的使用ETC，现在推出了一项优惠的政策，所以车上装有ETC的车辆，在上高速的时候都会有5%的优惠，虽然看起来比例不是很大，但对于常跑高速的人来说，也可以省下不少钱，不过人工收费的地方就没有这个优惠了，所以常跑高速的人安装ETC也是非常划算的。
目前安装ETC的车辆并不是很多，不过相关部门表示，将会在今年年底大力开展ECT，计划让80%的车上都安装ECT，到了明年七月份时，大部分的车上都会有ECT装置，为了更加方便大家，以后的新车上也会自带ETC，这样车主们也不用再费时费力的去办理，这样的话就会方便很多，使用的人也自然就会增多，那么高速收费处的堵车现在也就不存在了。
不过新的问题又出来了，很多人担心，到时候大家都用上了ETC，那么这个通道就会出现堵车的现象，估计到时候跟现在的人工收费处一样。要说到节假日，堵车是不可避免的，不过ETC的办事效率要比人工快很多，想必到时候也不会像现在这样严重，不过现在的人工收费也很方便了，又支持手机支付，到时候要如何选择，就看车主们自己的意思了。
