据三星官网报道，在近日举行的2019年度英国古德伍德速度节中，该公司带来了通过5G连线的VR远程操控技术，专业的赛车手在外场即可实现操控赛车进行漂移、烧胎、绕圈等表演活动。

在这次速度节上，三星在试用远程操控技术的赛车内配备了两台三星Galaxy S10 5G版，并在车上架设了一台360°环景摄像头。而在外场的专业赛车手头戴VR赛车模拟器，利用5G网络接收赛车实时状况，针对具体情况进行操作调整，而调控信息也通过5G网络实时传输给赛车，从而完成赛车的相关表演事宜。

通过5G连线的赛车远程操控技术具有低延迟、高频宽的特点，这也成为本次速度节的亮点所在。据悉，此前一辆美式NASCAR赛车在赛车手的不当操作下，闯入了内场赛道的草堆缓冲区，从而导致赛车挑战赛暂时无法进行。该事故的出现也使得三星5G远程技术得以提前展示。
