大家都很清楚，每个人的驾照在一个记分周期内只有12分可以扣，如果记分周期内扣满了12分就要去进行学习考试才能让驾照重新生效。不过，由于现在交通状况以及道路的建设明显跟不上时代的变化，有很多路段的交通通行规则并不是显得很人性化。也因为这些原因，很多车主都会出现无意违章的行为，但是违章了自然是要扣分的。而如今扣分也越来越严格，基本上大部分的违章行为都需要扣分。
因此，为了能让这些不是故意违章车主得更好的处罚方式，目前已经有部分的地区实行了教育减免交通违法记分奖励措施。而随后的2年内将会全国实施。这对于车主来说无疑是一件非常好的事情。
一个记分周期最高抵消6分
如果驾驶证在上一年的记分周期内没有扣慢12分的驾驶人，那么在下一个记分周期内如果出现了3分以下非现场处理的违章，便可以通过参加交通安全法律法规知识的学习以及后续的考试，如果成绩合格的话，那么就可以消除此次的违章记录。不过，在一个记分周期内，只能是申请两次。
记分周期内无违章，加3分
如果是在上一年的记分周期内没有任何的违章记录，并且在过去的两年内没有出现属于自己责任的事故，那么下一年便可以在12分的基础上再加3分，目前这个制度已经在广州实施，也只限与在广州地区的违章处分。而在后面两年，也将会慢慢的在全国实施这个政策。
举报违章，加3分
除了上面两种加分的方式，还有一种便是通过举报其他的违章车辆来加分。不过，这个有一定的条件，第一是在一年内举报了超过5起违章行为，并判定是违章行为，第二便是还要通过文明出行的答题，合格了才会有这3分作为嘉奖。
在过2个月，因为违章而扣分已经不能随便叫人代扣了，一个车最多只能绑定三个驾驶证。所以以后也不能随便找“黄牛”。因此，才会慢慢的推出这些抵消扣分以及加分的政策。不过，作为一名有素质的驾驶员，其实一年12分足够了，很多人几年都没有扣过一分。
