胎压异常的危害

轮胎作为汽车唯一直接与地面接触的部件，它的任何一点异常都可能导致汽车失控，发生意外。

轮胎胎压过低，会使得胎壁异常磨损，容易发生爆胎或者使轮胎提前报废。而且轮胎胎面与地面接触面积增大，摩擦阻力增大，车子的油耗会增加。

轮胎胎压过高，会使得轮胎胎面与地面接触面积减小，摩擦力减小，刹车距离变长。而且轮胎胎面中间部位磨损严重，遇到异物或者尖锐物更加容易爆胎。

胎压监测的作用

很多老司机上车前都会查看一下轮胎的状况，但胎压的变化和大气压、温度都有关系，仅靠肉眼判断很难发觉胎压问题。

而胎压监测系统可以提供直接查看轮胎胎压数据的功能，另外，当轮胎胎压异常时，发出警报提醒车主，可以提高驾车的安全性。

胎压监测的种类

如果原车购买时没有配置胎压监测，后期车主也可以自行加装。一般根据安装方式可以分为内置式和外置式两种。

内置式胎压监测价格比较高一些，安装比较麻烦。一般要先把轮胎的气嘴去掉，然后把胎压监测安装在轮胎内。而且，每次安装和维修后，都需要做轮胎动平衡，换了轮胎的话，还要重新进行配对才能正常使用。

但是内置式的胎压监测防盗性好，除非是整个轮胎被偷，不仅不易丢失，而且使用方便，并且使用寿命长，一般可以用3-5年。

相比之下，外置式胎压监测不仅价格便宜，而且安装更加简单，自己就可以完成。一般直接装在轮胎的气嘴上就行，不需要做动平衡之类的。更换新轮胎的话，只要稍微做下调整就行了。

但是这种方式容易被偷（从外表很容易看出来安装了外置式胎压监测），而且它只是用螺丝固定在气嘴上，而且每次给轮胎充气的时候，都需要先把胎压监测拆下来才行。通常其使用寿命要比内置式胎压监测短，一般为1-2年。
