前方路口继续直行，我选择靠中间的车道行驶，
现在信号灯左转和直行都是红灯，停车等候。
左转信号灯先亮起绿灯，左转车辆起步往前走，
现在直行信号仍然是红灯，前面车辆也起步了，
这里有一段直行等待区的设置，
凡是设有直行等待区的路口，一般都是左转先行，当左转信号灯亮起的时候就可以直行进入等待区等待，
记住，进入这个直行等待区的先决条件是左转绿灯，如果左转也是红灯那说明是横道两个方向的通行时间，此时是不可以进入直行等待区的，否则就是闯红灯了。
再看一下左侧这一条虚线，这条虚线在有些路口大家也会遇到，
还有更左侧两条已经不是太明显的虚线，
这些虚线是做什么用的，是不是左转等待区？我等会绕回来给大家讲一下，这个地方也是很容易闯红灯的误区。
我现在绕过来，在这个左转车道走一趟，
来认识一下这个个向弯曲延伸的虚线有什么作用。左边这两条车道都是左转车道，
现在前方直行信号灯是绿灯，左转信号是红灯，如果左边这条线是左转等待区的话，
那我就要在直行红灯的时候越过停止线进入左转等待。
停下我们看一下，这个左边的两条虚线现在已经不太明显了，
前段时间比较明显的时候，曾经看到现场执勤的交警查到过在此闯红灯的车辆。原因是什么呢？因为这个左转弯虚线不是左转等待区那个虚线，而是左转弯导向线。
我们看一下两者的区别。左转弯等待区和导向线很相似，
最大的区别是，左转弯等待区顶头有个停止线，而这个导向线是没有的。
那导向线是做什么用的呢？顾名思义，就是引导方向的，因为有的路口不太规则、或者路口比较大，规划导向线的目的是引导和辅助车辆左转弯行驶防止走错。
