如果你以为冠道撩人的是发动机特性，那么还真错了，相反我并不认为发动机的表象性优势有空间突出，对于更多消费者而言，冠道越级的空间优势才能真正的袭扰对手，一口吃定潜在消费者。
毕竟1.5T版本都能如此热销，冠道的空间优势可是要比动力优势更加突出，亦或者说，动力恰恰不是冠道的优势所在。
MM理念起始点在Fit，在冠道上运用到极致，将机械布局优化到极致，给成员预留出足够的活动空间，本田的这种设计是建立在保证足够安全性的基础上，所以在多款本田相关产品上，我们看到了空间更加出色的产品优势，当然除了歌诗图、思域几款极个别车型之外，本田的整体空间优势不言而喻。
所以在本田冠道上，我们看到了这样的后排空间表现，无论是腿部还是头部空间优势都超越了预期，比5座汉兰达更大，当然大只是冠道的优势之一，多样化以灵活性是另一极端优势。
在大的基础上， 冠道将优势再次放大，譬如说后排座椅放倒之后我们可以看到全平的后排地台，空间细节规划规整，这使得在极端情况下托运大件物品也可以胜任，在本身大尺寸优势基础上， 用户群体还开发出来更多的玩法。
我们对“大”的需求，远远超过任何一个国家，国内千人拥车数不足200，按照目前家庭结构体平均3.75人/户的数据来推算，千人拥车数需要达到350左右才能满足轿车入户的基本标准，按照现在机动车数据来算，我们对汽车的需求仍然停留在基本出行刚需诉求上，一台车的用途必须要有很多，要能装、能拉、舒适等等，所以大空间这种基本诉求非常重要。
这种诉求甚至远远高于操控、动力等等摆在面儿上的账面数据，看到这里，基本上也能确定中国消费者为什么追求大空间产品，也能知晓为何厂家在加长这件事儿上乐此不疲，因为市场有需要，这是我们特殊的消费文化理念。
其实回头看我们的选车过程，静止在机舱内的发动机远远没有摆在面儿上的大空间诱人，在动力系统各有偏好的今天，它没有绝对的优与劣，但是空间表现却能直接的影响消费者，一台足够宽敞可以让父母远游的大车，永远比窄小的操控型车辆更热门。
原因其实很简单，前者是一家人的车，后者是一个人的车，而我们正需要的是一家人的车，毕竟我们还没有完成轿车入户的基本市场诉求。所以对于管道来说，强大的不仅仅只有地球梦，还有强大的空间优势。
