在今年迎来全新换代的宝马3系显示出了咄咄逼人的进攻态势，而奔驰C级也已经在去年完成中期改款，为了应对对手的更新，奥迪于前不久正式发布了中期改款A4家族，新车也有望在年底引进国产上市。
在外观方面，新款A4在细节上有着大幅度的改变，整体时髦值有了不小的提升，在前脸方面新车换装了家族最新的更加扁平的六边形大嘴格栅，显得更加犀利，而两侧的大灯也取消了复杂的异形结构变为了较为规则的多边形，但内部光源科技感有大幅度的提升，栅格状的灯眉有着非常高的辨识度，在前保险杠部分，增加了和大嘴连接的梯形下格栅，整体上有着更强的层次感，同时左右两侧的雾灯区域也经过重新的设计，显得更具运动性。
作为中期改款车型，一般的做法在车身侧面并不会有太大的变化，但本次新款奥迪A4仍然对腰线进行了非常大幅度的调整，由原来一条贯通式的冲压腰线变成了前后断开的多层式结构，整体上细节更加丰富，显得更加动感时尚。在车尾部分，新款A4同样主要对尾灯进行修改，与大灯对应的栅格状LED尾灯光源显得非常的有辨识度，同时还跟随了全新A6等车型的家族风格，在尾灯之间有一条贯穿式镀铬条连接，让整体显得更加大气。此外在下保险杠部分也加入了额外的贯穿式镀铬条和由多个条包裹的双边双出排气，显得更有档次。
相比于车身外观较大幅度的改变，毕竟是改款车型，在内饰部分则以配置升级为主，首先中控屏幕的尺寸变得更大，其次取消了奥迪此前看家的MMI旋钮控制系统，将绝大部分操作移到了带触摸功能的中控屏幕上，为换挡区域腾出了更大的储物空间，颜值和实用性都有一定的提升。
在动力上则是此次更新的另一大重点，与大众品牌一样奥迪正在全系车型推行轻混动动力总成，连最入门的35 TFSI车型也增加了电动机辅助，海外版本新车搭载一台最大功率150马力的2.0T涡轮增压发动机，与现款国产国六版本相同，但在此基础上新增了一台12V电动机与发动机组成轻混动系统，比48伏电动机还要轻微的互动虽然无法提供更强的动力，但可以对行驶品质和油耗做出一定的改善，与之配合的当然还是7速双离合变速箱，而且由于只是入门配置，35 TFSI车型并没有四驱系统可以选装。
作为入门版本动力车型，新款A4L 35TFSI车型在，在未来由一汽奥迪引进国产之后，将会保持和现在一样的20万出头的超低价格，对于预算有限的消费者有着很强的吸引力，而从海外的新车图片可以看出，无论在外观内饰还是动力上该车都有着不俗的品质，较老款有着大幅度的进化，能有怎样的表现，非常值得期待。
