9月10日，全新一代路虎卫士Defender在2019法兰克福车展正式首发亮相。新车基于全新极限全地形平台D7x 架构设计打造。车展现场推出110版本和一款较短轴距的90版本，其他更多版本车型将在2020年陆续推出。

外观方面：延续家族风格硬派路线

与之前发布的谍照如出一辙，新车再现了路虎卫士车型独特的设计元素。外观整体造型方正简约，线条有力。车头镶嵌“Defender”字母，进气格栅粗壮的中网饰条搭配大尺寸LED头灯，造型硬朗霸气。

新车的车身侧面同样延续车头的设计风格，线条刚硬，尤其是D柱采用了垂直设计。另外，全新一代路虎卫士还特别为二排空间设计了折叠软顶以及侧顶窗。

新车的后尾门延续了路虎卫士经典的侧开门方式，尾灯采用LED光源，排气采用了单边共双出的布局。
内饰方面：全新内饰设计主打实用性
全新路虎卫士采用了全新的内饰设计风格，包括配备全液晶仪表盘，大尺寸中控液晶屏、富有层次感的中控台设计，带有“Defender”字样标识及铆钉元素的四辐式多功能方向盘以及电子换挡杆等等，同时新车也保留了更多的实体按键。
新车内饰以米色为主，中控台采用防水人造革材料，下方则采用了黑色防水塑料材质。另外，全新一代路虎卫士110车型提供5座或5+2座的座位配置，后备厢容积最高可达1075升。第二排座位折叠后，后备厢容积可提升至2380升。
动力方面：多种动力形式未来配备纯电动车型
全新路虎一代卫士采用了轻量化智能全铝架构以及整合式承载车身，同时将继续配备四驱系统。
在动力方面，新车将提供多种动力形式，包括汽油和柴油版本，未来还将推出插电式混合动力版本车型。汽油发动机系列包括2.0T P300发动机和3.0升双增压P400发动机，3.0升的双增压发动机还搭配了48伏轻混技术。
编辑点评：自1948年诞生以来，路虎卫士便一直是SUV领域的传奇经典。在本届法兰克福车展上首发的全新一代路虎卫士上，厂家提供了丰富的个性化选装，这也让新车的应用场景更加多元化。尽管如此，仍然不能否定路虎卫士经典的硬派越野标签。另外，新车在外观及内饰的设计上继续注重实用性，同时也加入了不少时下流行的设计元素以及娱乐科技配置。而新车在未来推出的插电混动版本车型则更加让人期待。
