汽车销量全美第一
去年，美国最大的零售汽车经销商集团AutoNation销售了超过53.8万辆新车和二手车。但AutoNation的销量仍比Costco低！
Costco会员购物俱乐部通过其Costco Auto计划，去年售出超过65万辆汽车（其中逾53.3万辆是新车）。创下了新的销售纪录，比2017年销售的52万辆汽车增加了25%。
在其网站上，可以看到销售车型涵盖摩托、轿车、皮卡……仔细看右上角还能发现前一阵Costco在搞奥迪优惠季活动……
其实，Costco从1989年就开始卖车了。LMC汽车公司副总裁杰弗·舒斯特曾说：“Costco相当于车厂和顾客间的中间人，Costco和车厂接洽，然后给车辆订一个基本价格。”
不赚差价的中间商
虽然Costco是中间商，但这位中间商根本不想赚差价。
Costco和车厂谈下来多少钱，就卖给你多少钱，不加价销售，他只想赚你的会员年费……Costco从交易中获得的，是来自成交客户的会员收入。其中，96%的Costco会员给予该计划在价值、服务和整体体验三方面很高的评价。
标语上写着：“会员支付得更少！”
在某些方面，Costco的汽车购买计划类似于亚马逊的Prime会员计划，亚马逊会员资格基于免费的两天送货，同时提供其它“免费”优惠，以保持消费者支付会员费。
此外，Costco还与主要汽车租赁商合作，包括Alamo、Avis和Enterprise，租车价格也是相对便宜。
服务态度堪比4S店
大家买车前肯定会先上汽车论坛做做功课，比比车型参数什么的。Costco就把车主评论、车辆安全等级、财务测算、车辆对比等功能集合在网站上，成为了一般消费者在研究买什么车时最先想到的地方。
还时不时搞促销活动，动不动就比经销商售价便宜2500美元……难怪大家都去Costco买车了
Costco还为消费者提供售前和售后支持。比如，当消费者买了一辆车后，发现有一条划痕，但不在保修范围内，那么Costco就会在消费者和经销商之间充当调解员，而不是让消费者去和经销商争吵。

此外，在任何Costco商店购物时，都可免费获得汽车轮胎保养服务。Costco员工可帮助会员调整轮胎、做平衡处理，以及修复轮胎，且不收分文。
