从华晨宝马汽车官方获悉，2020款华晨宝马1系三厢版已经上市，新车共计推出4款车型，售价区间为19.88-26.38万元，动力总成和配置进行较大力度的调整。
外观
在外观方面，新车与现款基本一致没有太明显的改变。双肾式的进气格栅比较饱满，黑色的中网上还装饰了亮银色的饰条，全系标配LED光源灯组，多边形的进气口相当的饱满宽大，除最低配车型外，中高配在M运动套件的加持下更显其运动基因。
由于动力系统的改变，所以原有的118i车型尾标变为了120i，原有的120i车型尾标也调整为125i。此外，双边共两出式镀铬排气升级为标配。
内饰
内饰部分的变化相对较大，全系配备鸡腿式的电子档以及8.8英寸触摸中控屏，高配置将会配备两个10.25英寸的触摸显示屏和数字仪表盘。高配车型还提供自动空调原厂导航、反差色缝线等。
其余配置方面，全系标配倒车雷达/影像系统、皮质多功能方向盘、车身稳定系统、6安全气囊、零胎压行驶，中高配车款还增加了全景天窗、感应尾门、换挡拨片、主驾驶电动调整、自动空调等配置。
动力
原有的118i车型换装了经过升级的B38系列1.5T直列三缸发动机，最大功率提升至140马力，同时换装了7速双离合变速箱，原有的120i车型继续搭载最大功率192马力的B48系列2.0T直列四缸发动机，但同样换装了7速双离合变速箱。
作为豪华汽车品牌入门款车型的宝马1系，相较同级别的奥迪A3、奔驰A级，运动是其特色。不过在这个细分市场，奥迪A3的销量还是遥遥领先，不过这也表明宝马1系还有很大的提升空间。
