大家都知道，如果一辆车没有车牌的话，是不可以上路的。但是也有特别的情况，那就是车牌丢了、损坏或者被盗了，此时车辆可以上路吗？并且在这样的情况下该如何做呢？
在近日，车行哥在网上看到一张图，图上是一辆五菱荣光车型，重要的是，车牌是一张纸打印出来，并且贴在了本身应该悬挂车牌的位置，上面还有一张说明，“车牌丢失，正在补办”。可以看到，这辆车此时是行驶在路上的，不过前面有没有车牌并不知道。
但是如果遇到车牌丢失的情况，车行哥可以告诉大家，第一时间报交警说明情况备案，不关此时，是前后两款车牌一起被丢失还是只有一块，都要先报警备案。并且车辆此时是可不可以上路的，车主应及时到车管部门办理补领、换领手续，同时，补领、换领牌照，不必驾驶机动车到场。按照规定应悬挂号牌后方可上道路行驶。否则，同样将面临被记12分、罚款200元处罚。所以，车牌丢失，即使是查的到你这辆车有车牌登记，也同样没有商量的余地。
因此，如果按照前面那张图的做法的，是不正确，如果被交警或者摄像头拍到的话，同样是会受到的处罚的。而当车牌丢失的话，车辆无法上路，但还要用车的话，。第一、可以委托4S店代办临时牌照，在4S店购车的话，一般的4S店会帮助客户免费，不过也存在客户资料不全的情况，可能会额外收取手续费。第二、自行前往车管所窗口（或在网上车管所进行预约，拿到预约号）进行临牌办理。
