现在选择自动挡车型的人越来越多，但是一些档位要是挂乱了，对车辆的损伤可是非常大的。
一：如果是长时间停车可别一直挂D档位挂D档位时候，车子有个向前走的动力，如果是长时间挂在D档位（特别是等红绿灯时候），变速箱容易过热，液态容易变质。所以为了保护好变速箱，长时间怠速停车最好还是挂N档。
二：车辆没停稳时换千万不要挂P档。停车后，必须熄火挂入P档才能抽出钥匙，很多人都会习惯停下来直接推到P档再熄火，拉手刹。熄火后一般车辆因路面不平会前后小小挪动一下，而这时P档变速箱油个锁止机构和变速齿轮咬住的，这时候的挪动会对变速齿轮造成一点冲击。正确的做法是：车进入停车位后，踩住刹车将排档杆拉到N档，拉起手刹，松开脚刹后然后熄火，最后再将排挡干推入P档。
三：行车时候切换到N档。下坡时候，为了省油而切换到N档滑行，会使变速箱无法散热，容易造成损伤。
四：等红灯时候挂入P档。有人习惯等红灯挂P档，这是错误的，因为此时如果后车追尾，容易把P档的齿轮和变速箱损伤。如果不是入库后停车，平常没事不要挂P档。
五：推车起动发动机。汽车因缺少电而不能起动时候，而采用人推或其他车辆拖动的方法是非常错误的，最好的办法是搭电救车，如果要拖车，不要拖动驱动轮。车速野一定要瞒，距离要短，否则变速箱容易过热而损伤。
