误区一：安装方向盘套、座椅套等保护套
很多车主在购置了新车之后，特别爱惜，生怕新车受到一点伤害。于是各类方向盘套、座椅套、手刹套等等各类“保护套”一股脑的被安装在车上，全副武装之后，心里方可感到一丝欣慰：都套上了，这下不会划伤了。其实，这些保护套不仅起不到明显的作用，还存在着极大的安全隐患。
方向盘套：安装方向盘套之后，驾驶时手与方向盘套接触，而不是直接操控方向盘本身，即使方向盘套内部使用防滑处理，但打滑的安全隐患依旧存在，在紧急情况下容易出现危险。另外，方向盘套和方向盘会出现轻微的摩擦，易造成方向盘表面被磨损，恰恰适得其反。
座椅套：很多车主会在座椅上安装座椅套，起到保护座椅、耐脏的作用。但需要注意的是，如果您的车辆配备有侧气囊，那么建议您不要使用座椅套，因为它会将侧气囊包裹住，从而影响弹出，容易引发危险。如果坚持要使用的话，那么建议您选择预留出侧气囊位置的款式。另外，如果原装座椅是真皮的，那么最好不要使用座椅套，因为真皮座椅本身耐脏、易打理，且座椅套的金属配件或拉锁等部件，容易划伤真皮座椅，这样的话就得不偿失了。
误区二：使用手机架
手机架：不少车主为了方便，喜欢将手机固定在车上，手机架一般有两种形式，一种是吸盘式固定在风挡玻璃上，另一种通过插入空调出风口来进行固定。这两种形式均存在安全隐患，吸盘式容易对驾驶员视线进行干扰，影响行车安全。出风口手机架在车辆行驶时，由于颠簸等原因，可能会跌落，存在一定安全隐患。另外，手机架安装出风口，容易造成出风口损伤，切勿因“顺手“而伤车。
误区三：加装镀铬装饰件
加装镀铬装饰，是很多车主表达个性的方式。常见于中网、车窗、车门把手、尾灯等等可以“勾勒”轮廓的区域，让整个车身都闪闪发亮。审美的话题我们暂且不论，这些镀铬装饰，通常质量不佳，且多为不锈钢材质，在风吹雨打之后，很容易失去光泽，材质不佳的甚至会生锈，而被装饰件所覆盖的车漆，因长期与周围环境不同，可能会与裸露的车漆存在色差等问题，所以这些闪闪发亮的装饰件，还是不用为好。
